Title：A  Cross-Cultural Journey: From NCTU to Princeton, and From Academy to AI-NeuroScience Startup

Abstract

In this talk, Sergiy will share his journey from studying computer science in Taiwan to leading a startup in computational neuroscience in the USA. He'll talk about his time at Princeton, where he developed large-scale computer vision applications, and how this experience helped him co-found a company and get into YCombinator. Sergiy will also discuss the challenges and successes of raising venture capital in today's competitive environment. Additionally, Sergiy will discuss his current role as CTO at Zetta AI, exploring how his team uses AI to analyze detailed brain data. He'll cover the latest research, the use of cutting-edge AI systems, and the challenges that need to be addressed before this technology can be applied to the human brain.
